Just checked with Dan, warranty doesn't cover own ROM and it doesn't come rooted.

In that case, extra warranty isn't very useful for me.

Yes 6 months warranty as well. Checked with the guy. Just go back to the shop and they will do necessary stuffs.

It comes with official global rom by xiaomi itself as I've checked on xiaomi website. For flashing own ROM.. Aint sure about that.

It's true that in term of raw performance, Snapdragon 650 is way better than Snapdragon 625. However, in terms of efficiency, Snapdragon 625 trumps the Snapdragon 650 in miles.
Not to say that the Snapdragon 625 is bad in performance, it's still decent for everyday usage but not really for heavy gaming.

16MP on RN3 doesn't mean it has better photo quality than the 13MP on RN4. If not, you wouldn't see the Galaxy S8 with a 12MP camera having the best photo quality of all smartphone.

Got this Redmi Note 4X (3GB/32GB) at $179 from the JTBC online offer. Using it as a spare backup phone coz my 2+ years old Mi Note, the battery getting bashed up after many PoGO sessions.....

Actually, the performance of the SD 625 is as good as my old Mi Note's SD 801, it runs much cooler, and definitely battery last much longer. Build quality also good. Dropped it on my 1st day...duh...but all's ok and not a scratch

Yes can. But if cant work, just format it to FAT32 will do.

I would recommend u to go for 625 variant. Does not heat up as compared to X20 and has better battery life
