Are u sure Note 4X is at the same price point at 4A? Note 4X is definitely better than 4A.

I have both phones.

is warranty necessary? how has it been for people been using this phone?

Is like buying insurance, u nvr know when you need it

So far I using less than 1 month only

Difference is only like $10-20 for 6 months warranty

I have a difference opinion on this.

Since it is shop warranty, I generally do not trust shop warranty especially if it's like some months down the road. They might just blame it on user problem.

So I wouldn't really pay extra for extended warranty, and just make use of the existing warranty (albeit short) to thoroughly test out the functions and exchange for a new set if anything goes wrong. Shops are more willing to exchange new set if it's just a few days to a week of discovering problems with the phone.

Of course, also note the price point too. Since it's really such a good price, I'm happy to take the phone with short warranty period without topup for extended warranty. :o

Seems more expensive leh.

I bought my 3GB/16GB model at $158, with Qoo10 gift card and Q-points reducing it to $150.

I think it was sold even cheaper before though.
