4x had global rom. Ie with Google play so no problem for us.

From pass experience. Xiaomi.sg always import with older model. 4 and 4x in China can be up to 200rmb different.

Agreed Xiaomi model is very confusing. Sometime even phone looks alike.

Thats the thing, there are some many models and it is confusing as hell, plus the Mi Store Singapore does not state clearly which model this is.

By right there are four versions now:

- Redmi Note 4 (Mediatek chip)
- Redmi Note 4 India Version (SD 625 chip)

  Supported bands: FDD-LTE (B3/B5), TD-LTE (B40)

- Redmi Note 4X Chinese Version (SD 625 chip)

• 
  Supported bands: FDD-LTE (B1/B3/B5/B7), TD-LTE (B38/B39/B40/B41)

- Redmi Note 4X Global Version (SD 625 chip)

• 
  Supported LTE bands: FDD-LTE (B1/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20), TD-LTE (B38/B40)

So the SGP Mi Store version is Note 4X Global or Chinese? and if it is either, why call it note 4 and not 4x?!?!

Not exactly as 4x has bluetooth 4.2 while note 4 using 4.1.. According to MIUI forum, 4x has more bands compared to 4 so go figure

This is weird as hell, because all three, the mediatek and the 4x (global AND chinese version) have bluetooth 4.2

It also does not mention wifi (so far only the mediatek version supports 802.11ac)

My guess is blind copy paste by Xiaomi SG store... on the specifications

im not sure there are global and chinese versions of 4x.. where did you get this source? if it has, then there should also be global and chinese versions of note 4 mtk and note 4 sd also

Think MTK version and note 4 is bluetooth 4.1. rx is buletooth 4.2.

Dual SIM 4G

Hi, does both SIM slot support 4G?
I understand N4 local set only support 4G on the primary SIM and only 3G calls on the secondary. Can't locate such info for N4x.
I need both SIMs for data. Headache looking for a phone.
