If u are talking about official SG release, dont wait. Just buy export set, its cheaper and there's no difference in software. Store will flash global rom for you. Very soon will see stores exporting from china set.

Warranty is not really necessary. If u break ur phone screen, warranty wont cover one, still need to pay.

Yeah, QC3.0 is only on Redmi Note 5 China's edition while the India's Redmi Note 5 Pro doesn't come with it(probably only QC2.0).

To be honest, i rather have microUSB. Because in singapore context, USB C is still not common. It doesnt really bring much benefits to microUSB except that you can plug in on either side. If u forget to bring your cable from home, then u need to charge but ur colleagues or friends only have microUSB.
