I got one weird problem with my global local set... my phone would ring out of ordinary... there is no in call screen just ring.. and i check is not any notification. I already disable all apps to use phone etc.. and disable those notification i dun need.. ... I guess i use mi mover to transfer from old to new phone and some apps causing the issue. And to stop the "ring" i clear memory then the ring stop

mine is OIIMIFA. Does this mean that I won't be able to receive future updates to miui10?

Yep. No future updates. Have to flash to an official rom, which none of us have an idea on how to do it yet. Maybe can try the test point method but I'm not doing that and risk my return

Best is to install all apps again on new phone.

Personally not a Shopee user. Just curious whether there is a "don't click received" policy. Here's what I've found:

1. The clause is not mentioned https://help.shopee.sg/hc/en-us/articles/115010120067-What-is-Shopee-s-15-Days-Return-Policy-.

You probably can claim under "Damage or faulty product" which does not have to be "New Condition" and it does not have to be "Sealed".

If you like, you could challenge them where this "don't click received" is mentioned in their website, though you might first get a screen capture before they update it.

2. In the above page, there is a link "-Product qualifies for return due to Change of Mind" https://help.shopee.sg/hc/en-us/articles/115010288308 and further down, there is another link "What if my product is damaged, defective or I received the wrong colour/size, etc.?", you can also claim under "Request for Return/Refund"

that's what they say. I asked about the 15 day return and they said that only applies if you don't click received.

anyway, I'm getting the runaround from shopee, so I doubt I'm going to get a swap/refund. this will be my 1st and last purchase on shopee, gonna just delete the app. terrible service, i keep repeating I have a fake rom, and they keep saying there is no update......

Implications of a fake rom ? Who modified or fake it ? If really not official rom, then anybody can put any code inside, right ?

Check the code behind. If its OIIMIFA, it's fake rom. If its OEIMIFA, its official rom. But from what u said that it has 9.5.6.0, most likely its OIIMIFA fake rom.

Thanks Bro! FaceLock works once set to India Region.
But seems got additional apps auto installed once you set it.
Netflix, MiStore, Amazon etc.
Since I just wanna try it the FaceLock features, I set back to Singapore few minutes later and uninstalled it.

But once I play around from India Region and set back to Singapore Region, it prompt an update below

Is it safe to update since mentioned Update for Android Devices in India.
Even I reboot and confirmed it's back to Singapore Region, the update is still there.
