Global rom doesn't mean is local set.. Just for info.. So far if u enter imei number it show country of delivery Singapore or Malaysia then is local set.

I using global rom.. Mine mum using China rom.. Mine set no VoLTE and Bluetooth no support aptx.. Once check mine mum set will see is because of rom.. Cause mi max 3 China rom got the 2 functions

The free one is actually quite good as in slim and dun spoil the holding effect of the phone

To me the free case is OK but I don't think it can protect the phone if drop from height or fall onto rough ground. So I want to get a tougher case.

Lol if Redmi note 5 not SD 636 den u are looking at wrg phone lei

Jks (it's India fault for making redmi 5 plus as the note 5 and note 5 pro is like China note 5)

no cons.. infact i dun see a need to unlock bootloader and dun see a need to flash global rom.. for mine phone , family members one and relatives and friends one... they all nv encounter any problem..

ok i just check on the latest global rom vs china rom... m1 sim card... china rom support voLTE... global rom no... china rom got steps counters etc.. global dun have... and there are others also... china rom usually more stable , got the fastest updates and the most features.

there is a con. every miui update will bring random china apps that u have to uninstall. and recently the vibration on every sync bug was introduced and fixed around 2 weeks afterwards. these random weird ass bugs are usually not present in global rom.
