seems that xiaomi is changing their naming system for SG's release.

India's RedMi Note 5 Pro is the Sg's RedMi Note 5

these 2 same specs, running 636 snapdragon, same dual camera corner placement

India's RedMi Note 5, 625 snapdragon, single center camera.

Afaik India call it RN5, but the Tiong units (and its "Global Version" units) are called Redmi 5 Plus.

$349 is inclusive of its 1 yr limited local warranty.

If chiu value its warranty claims, then go ahead buy.

But for moi personally, usually this kind of phone I will just get export set. No point paying more for so-called local warranty when the phone is relatively cheap. If at anytime spoil, just get another cheap one to replace.

If getting samsuck or ifong flagship which can cost up to $1K, then it's a diff story.

I think mine is the China one just that the rom flashed is a global rom. So I think it's pretty worth the price

Yeah, one year local warranty by Xiaomi Singapore.

If they state it as Export set(like the Redmi S2 listing on their website), then no local warranty.
