Just cancelled my order from JTBC. Really made my blood boil talking to them. The pinoy girl told me there's no stock when they responded a YES on Shopee when i asked if the stock is in for 32Gb Black. It's really an unpleasant experience and I would advise not to buy from this shop. Anyone can recommend the cheapest deal for 32GB Black?

They responded swiftly? I left them a message more than a week back and they only bothered to respond 2 days ago..

Nope. Dropped them a message on 1st June and only received their reply yesterday. I didn't trust them so wanted to call and confirm that the stock is in. Turns out I was right, there's no stock. And the seller is online on shopee but refused to answer queries. I understand that the shipment might be delayed but this is not the way to treat your customers.

Just saw your message, it was USD$200 for standard, 4/64 gold (the 3rd one). Unfortunately sale has ended, so, can not capture the screenshot. Got to wait for the next sale then.

either way its 200 usd. via visa conversion, its 275 sgd or more. i dont recommend buying from aliexpress at this point in time. no reason to.

Yeah, at least confirmed is China set so will have to see if they got stock on hand or not.

Export set ? You serious? Its global set, and its perfectly legal as it is still under $400, no need to declare custom duty or GST.



$25 more for a year warranty, compared to aliexpress 6 months warranty, then yes, but you have to understand this, buying from aliexpress is legal as its under $400, buying from local reseller may not be as it is labelled export set, which means no GST has been paid on it, and export set means they can not sell it locally, so, the choice is yours.

Looking at the sale at aliexpress, already 3000 sets have been ordered (8000 - 5000 yesterday), so, 3 more hours to go for those that want the sgd$266 note 5 4/64.

If you think its useless, then better buy from local "export" set, their sales probably only max 10 units per day I calculated, and that is solely note 5, if iphone 8, only 3 units and they had to close shop for that day already.

I am not going to support these shops that go around the GST loophole in our society.

You're not alone.

I used to feel black is the nicest of all colors, but I see more it looks a little boring and fingerprint stains very visible.

Blue and Gold colors seems to look better as time goes haha.

Becos already having a black mimax 2 and one black note 4...tot change taste abit, but prob with gold is the frontal white bezel more obvious.

Actually the front panel design of the Redmi Note 5 is quite nice-looking IMO. Quite liking the very clean and simple design

Actually this time round, Xiaomi controlled the black border quite well on the Redmi Note 5 that isn't too obvious like the Redmi Note 3 from the link you posted..

Compared with Redmi Note 4 (4X)

You probably are on China Rom? Try flashing to Global 9.5.6 and it will work fine

If you haven't get the Redmi Note 5, maybe you might want to wait for the Redmi Note 6 that's coming real soon..

Redmi Note 6 may be using a glass body, with a notch display that could be similar to the Lenovo Z5. Launch date could be around this coming August.
