For me black any time.. But no doubt other colors is nice also.. So far bought 2 black, 1 gold and 1 blue..


Hmmm... I noticed the Bluetooth not stable. I paired it with my car HU, laptop, speaker, earpiece but it only show laptop and it doesn't auto connect to the HU

And I am not able to bluetooth tethering from my laptop at all. :(

Anyone else having issue with the bluetooth too? :(:(:(

Anyone finds that the rn5 photos sre not sharp ?

I tried to compare with mi max, mi max is way shaper than rn5.
You sure? Mi Max has the most inferior camera.

M1803E7SH is which country's set?

Edit: does it make a difference if the sets is meant for different countries?

Anyone has the M1803E7SH set? Any issues? Im using the E7SG set not sure about the E7SH set

For the device that the shop flash with custom rom, do we still need to unlock bootloader and wait 360 hours to flash back to official global rom?

Bad experience with Global Technologies @ Lazada

I bought a black Xiaomi Note 5 from Global Technologies @ Lazada.
I collected the phone on 18 Jun evening, and installed apps on 19 Jun, started using the handphone on 20 Jun and found out there was a very tiny cable poking out from the lower right side of the phone. It will poke my finger or my hand if brush against the tiny poking cable. Messaged the issue and pictures to the seller since 20 Jun and requested to return the phone since this is a defect. Seller only replied once to ask me to bring it down to Xiaomi Service Centre and did not reply to all my enquiries about return of the defect phone and request for their contact details so that i can talk to seller personally. I told seller that with the cable poking out, i m afraid i might get electric shock if my hand is wet, but seller never reply. Very irresponsible seller. I have done a review of this seller at Lazada, but my review has not shown up on seller's page yet.

Why not bring it to Xiaomi service centre and let the staff there take a look?

Sure boh.. Make sure both focus same thing first..then check photo details.. F4 photo vs F1. 9 likely F4 photo got more dept of field and thus look overall sharper.. Cause to compare photos of 2 phones best is settings like f stop, ISO is the same etc..

It doesnt have Singapore warranty right? Bring down to service centre, they will help meh?

That's why I prefer to spend a bit more and buy from official Mi Store. Last time my newly purchased phone got big speck of dust in camera lens and I got a new set in exchange when I went back to Mi Store next day.

I will wait for some promotion from Mi Store before I buy the Xiaomi Note 5.

I m not sure whether the 1 year warranty is authentic or not, since seller replied one and only once to ask me to bring down to service ctr, i think warranty shld be authentic? But what i want is exchange or return, not repair at service ctr. Seller should honor the 14 days return, i keep asking, but seller keep quiet and never reply about the return. I have chatted with Lazada, i can initiate the return thru Lazada, but subject to their investigation which take 2-4 business days for quality evaluation. And the return process is quite troublesome, need to go down to popstation and dont know do what. That's why i prefer to liaise directly with seller, if seller is responsible and honour the 14 days return, things will be easier. But seller is irresponsible, keep quiet through out abt the return.

The seller does not have a physical shop, does not provide any contact numbers, so it is really buying at your own risk, this is esp true when you meet irresponsible seller like Global Technologies.
