i notice my note took more then 2 hrs to charge from 20%-90+%..

This is normal. After 90% is very very slow, slower than first 10% and much much slower when phone is at 50%.

I took ard 3.5hrs to charge frm zero to full. Normal bo?

Take 3100 mAh divided by the current input to get a rough gauge: 3100 mAh / 1000 mA = 3.1 hours

But we know the charging-time relationship is not linear, so if you expect it to be 2 hours that's quite impossible.

anyone encounter slow download speed issue when connecting to wifi? my router is using 2.4g and my samsung galaxy is able to dl at 40Mb/s whereas my redmi note only 3Mb/s...

having 2 Note on hand. how come 1 is able to update to JHDMICE29.0 but the other one no matter how u check keep tell you is the updated one but is only JHDMICE23.0

i'm not sure, it happened to me too. i had to manually update by downloading from the miui website

v29-30 was the only one which had to be done manually for me

G2 charger? Can... just that it will only take in 1A from that charger that's all.

Redmi note is able to accept 2A, try it yrself & use battery monitor app. Infact in China, Xiaomi note & pad are all bundled with 2A charger.

Singapore & international market are being shortchanged as xiaomi did not / have yet to start production of 2A UK plug chargers to cater for us. They simply threw in the lowerend 1A model used for redmi1/1S.
