Xiaomi redmi note

Locally there is only one which is the 1.7Ghz model while in China there are 2 different models.

OK. I found out more details. China has two fw but it is based on radio not the CPU. One is TD SCDMA and one is WCDMA which is what we have here. So when we flash ROM we have to choose the WCDMA compatible one.

There's a technique in opening the back cover easily.

press onto the lower middle part of the phone (slightly above the MI logo) with your thumb, and angle your finger around the clasp/hinge at the bottom and voila!

Nah, it just lifts straight off the back.

simply just hold the phone with the back case facing u as in the pic, use finger to pull/pry from the hinge. With firm pressure the top part of the case will simply "pop out".

Or if u prefer a more gentle manner, pull/pry from the hinge with little force & it'll unhook 2 of the main catches, then simply slide yr fingernail towards left along the opening edges.

Anyone able to verify/solve the following issues ?

- Default browser unable to show Embed youtube clips in forums (eg. hwz) It'll just display a while blank with "Couldn't load plug-in". Its working fine on redmi thou but not on note

- Front-cam specs is 5MP 2592x1936, hardware info in AnTuTu is correct. But under default Camera settings, limited to 3M 2048x1536?

- Under Tools - Read me guide cannot be open/loaded? (Error msg: Cant use your data connection to download this package) Redmi's working fine

- 5V 1A charger included instead of supposedly 5V 2A as mentioned by Hugo himself & from unboxing reviews from other countries?

ups tracking update sometime not accurate, after show in transit in shenzhen since last friday with no more update till this afternoon, they just deliver my note without any mention of it in sg.
