Qoo10 XiaoMi products is it fake?
As long as you do not buy from official xiaomi website, there is no foolproof way to check authenticity.

Even if product is real, you would also miss out on official warranty coverage

Also have to make sure that the version you get is compatible with phone network in Singapore. China phones are made in several versions due to the county having a few different networks. Make sure you get the WCDMA version

Lastly, phones parallel imported from china typically do not have google playstore preinstalled.

Qoo10 XiaoMi products is it fake?

a lot of them are parallel import sets that come with 6 months warranty/

take the commonly sold redmi note at sls/ Qoo10/deal.coms.sg etc is the non-enhanced 1.4ghz version export set

the ones sold locally in the store is 1.7 ghz enhanced version

even within china, it is fairly common to have fake and cloned phones over there. u be surprised how real they look.

they can even fake the serial numbers. :s22:

it is definitely safer to buy from the website or buy a resale local set with proof of purchase.

I same same...still waiting....UPS taking on sweet time...call them also no use, say cannot track as the tracking is one pallet not individual package.

i suspect our pallet might have been stolen or lost somewhere.. :(

eh, nothing special happened. I just open the box, put in my sim, and set it up. now charging? lol. Going to test out the things I need it to run, and of course battery life, signal strength, etc. If all goes well, then it'll stay. LOL. if not, time to look at Moto G LTE.
