2Gb is the RAM amount

Cos i tried couple of times, to no success. Keeps popping up the error msg during installation.

Mine had no problem updating to v30.
Brand new, version 24 (or 25?), then ota update to v29.
Then download the official global v30, put into the downloaded_rom folder, run update. success.

Tried to update via external USD drive but failed a few weeks ago

Copy the file into the phone storage and update from there, once success, you can delete the 500mb file from the phone storage

have you tried putting your wife's sim into your phone and try?

Oh yah...i give it a try first.
Anyway this sim card was from redmi 1s which have no issue with 3g speed.

Already updated to v30 but somehow when playing some mp3/mp4 files copied from a Nokia phone, it either can't finish the whole mp4 (or error when trying to play other mp4 files) or stop playing mp3 after a few songs....anyone have these problems..thanks.

one question : during alarm, there is a screen pop up for you to snooze and dismiss. how to change that screen? it is blue by default, hard to see leh. thanks.
