Anyone able to help again on my Xiaomi BE6500 Pro router. I can’t seems to get it online again after 1 hour of trying ways. It’s not connected to mesh as my BE5000 is already turn off more than 1-2 days. Is it just doesn’t work with starhub? Thanks in advance.

yeah. thanks for the suggestion. after looking through the past few pages in this thread. Seems like HB710 is the one Xiaofan recommended to pair with starhub.
Let me do some research on the Huawei BE7 as well. Thanks for replying.
Meanwhile I will get a cheap router to test it out and use hotspot for the time being. Thanks
None of them as 6GHz band, let alone 320MHz channel bandwidth.Which XM BE routers has wifi 6 and 320 Hz channel? Just wondering for next upgrade...

Laptops able to access the internet?Hi, just did a factory reset on my Xiaomi BE3600 router and now my IP address is 192.168.31.X ranges.
My laptops are not able to ping each other. Which settings should I change for this?
Laptops able to access the internet?
Check your Windows Firewall, if enabled Ping is blocked by default
Under File and Printer Sharing > Echo Request - ICMPv4-In
Your ONT and Router should not be on the same subnet, must be different to avoid conflicts.ok can ping each other now.
my viewqwest ONT device is having IP 192.168.1.1, should I need to configure my Xiaomi BE3600 router to have the same network with 192.168.1.x?
PS: I got my Xiaomi BE3600 router from taobao last year, any global or openwrt firmware that I can flash?
Alert: Xiaomi AX3000T China version V2 (RD03V2) with V2.x FW has changed the chipset from MediaTek Filogic 820 (original version RD03) to a lower performance Qualcomm IPQ5018 chipset, and it is no longer supported by official OpenWRT version. Wireless performance is also degraded as per the tests from a few Chinese reviewers.
The global version selling in local official Xiaomi shops is RD23 which is still using MediaTek Filogic 820 chipset and it still supported by OpenWRT.

Some Chinese websites will call RD03v2 as Xiaomi AX3000T HW Revision V3.

Hello @xiaofan I'm renovating my home so looking for some router/AP recos. House is big so Cat6 cables into 5 rooms (Ethernet - 1 each room) + Cat6 cables for 4 APs (Wifi - 2 per level). Other devices - TV/printer/security cameras/doorbell - overall very simple family usage, just need fast speed and good coveragePlanning to change ISP (Singtel 1Gbps -> MyRepublic 3Gbps No Frills). Read that MyRepublic setup is ONT so landed in this forum as I'm looking to get China routers/APs directly from TB.
Setup is probably gonna be:
Main Router (Xiaomi BE7000 / TP-Link TL-7DR7260 BE7200)
Port 1 -> WAN in from ONT
Port 2 -> 2.5Gbps PoE switch for 4 APs - I saw Xiaomi / TP-Link China PoE APs that has a small form factor (power socket size) which is ideal but not sure if it works in SG? They are really cheap compared to getting Ubiquiti / Netgear / TP-Link SG round-form PoE APs that easily cost >$200. Prefer PoE APs as I don't need another electric point for each AP.
Port 3 -> 2.5Gbps switch for 5 Ethernet + 1 printer - just need all the laptops to be on the same network as the printer.
Port 4 -> TV
Port 5 (if TP-Link router) -> Security cameras / Doorbell
1. Does the above setup even make sense lmao
2. Leaning more towards TP-Link TL-7DR7260 BE7200 because it has 5 2.5Gbps ports vs. Xiaomi's 4. But setting up wise is it easy plug and play?
3. If the China PoE APs don't work in SG and I have to get Ubiquiti etc. APs will they work with China main router?
