They use the same screen. The difference is in the CPU speed, the GPU. In addition, MiTV4 has a voice recognition system.

Would it be better for me to get a 4A or a V4 if i’m Most likely gonna use a mibox for casting and Netflix?

If you are using Mibox S and going for netflix, can just buy 4A. Mibox also has voice search etc. the speed bottleneck will be at Mibox and not in the TV..

How about picture quality? I saw that V4 supports HDR something, is there a huge difference? Sorry a lot of these stuff still don’t really understand

My $326 4S 43" just arrived yesterday... Screen doesn't seem 4k? I was playing this 4k video from an external USB drive. It looked much sharper on my main LG TV. But no complains for this price.

All the models support HDR in a way that they have the HDR decoders but their LED screens cannot display the HDR picture.. Xiaomi has TN LED panel and therefore, their color rendering is not as good as those IPS LED panel used in better TV set..If don't make direct comparison, one could not tell much difference..

Dear all,

My 50inch 4A Xiaomi TV prompted a software upgrade recently, will it affect the preloaded APP if i click to upgrade the software?

43" is too small for 4k video at normal viewing distance of 2-3 meters.

so even your 4s 43" has real 4k, most people can tell the difference between 4k and 1080p.

No。 It will not change anything to the existing APPs.. make sure you have a good downloading speed without any data interference or you may have surprises and have to do a factory reset.. If your TV is working fine, suggest just to ignore the upgrade by pressing the return button or select skip

Anyone here tried connecting mi TV to your PC?

I am considering the 43" 4s to hook up to my PC, other than distance issue any other things to take note?

If your PC has a HDMI port , it will be as easy as using a HDMI to connect the PC's HDMI to the HDMI of the MiTV. One should select the correct HDMI port at TV to display..
If your PC has only VGA port, one will have buy a VGA to USB or VGA to HDMI converter and connect the TV to the PC using VGA cable.. one will also need to connect the PC sound to TV if sound is required.

The 4A, 4C and 4S are almost the same except the frames are different.. 4S Pro has 16 GB storage memory whereas rest are 8 GB. If you need to store more program go for the Pro; otherwise, not worth the money.

Doesn't really matter if you're gonna get the Mi Box S. The seller installed YouTube and Netflix won't have 4k support. I would get the 4S because of the design and then plug in a Mi Box S.

This is wat I'm currently thinking of whether to get a 4s and mi box s or get a pana TV with mi box s. But for mi TV dun have decoder 9vp while others do support 9vp.

none of the above. They will give you blur-blur youtube and netflixe picture.

if you just want to run youtube and netflix, can consider smart tv from other brand such as samsung, sony, lg.

if you want to have 4k youtube and 4k netflix, get any dumb 65" TV and a "mibox s"
