@Rapture did u activate hdmi enhance Mode under setting? I dint read your whole troubleshooting post

Mitv global dont have the hdmi 2.0 option but has this as enhance Mode, this is needed to run 4k. Look under Setting - device preferences - input , later noon I try to bring the mibox S to this tv and try. Yesterday photo was on the 4A

see my image with my normal ps4 connected and it will appears grey off if the device input is detected as non supported

Try that. Different OS might have different set up. My example was taken from a MITV presented by Indian made. The setup you have shown appeared same as SONY android TV

Stupid xiaomi not helping consumer and themselves by coming out so many models (even same models) without a common fw. Yes need to sperate China and Global but they should at least standardise global set.

I've looked through the Mi TV settings but am unable to find any option to enable HDMI 2.0 or even HDMI for that matter.

That sounds good, as i am seeing titles in HDR, but not 4k. Been researching on Google, even Netflix have not explicitly said HDR films are 4k resolution. From what i understand. HDR refers to the colour and not specifically the resolution, i.e. there can be 1080p HDR films as well.

Does not show "4k UHD" in my Netflix at all, regardless of 20/25/30/smtpe 4k setting on the Mi Box S.
Press on the 3 strips button on the mi tv remote > playback settings and you'll see HDMI2.0.

hey guys,

I ordered a 43 inch Xiaomi TV from MinihelpersSG @Qoo10 on Thursday and thought the TV will be delivered the next day because they mentioned ready sets.

Tried contacting the seller and there wasn't any replies until yesterday where the seller finally replied saying to expect delivery today (Saturday) but so far I haven't receive anything yet... Wasted my Saturday waiting at home...

has this happen to any of you guys?

anyone can advise how to connect the TV to wifi? click on the ssid and prompt to enter the password, but then, after entering the password, there is no OK for me to click.
mine is the global OS, 4K Ultra 4A.

Hi bro thanks for the reply. Similar to your picture, my "HDMI Enhance Mode" is greyed out - unable to select the option. This is with the Mi Box S plugged in.

I am using the HDMI cable from the Mi Box S so it shouldn't be the cable's issue.

Press on the 3 strips button on the mi tv remote > playback settings and you'll see HDMI2.0.

Sorry bro, what is the 3 strips button? Thanks. You referring to the Mi TV remote or the Mi Box S remote? Both i don't see the 3 strips button. Thanks!
