The tracking no in the order detail is actually for UPS. My order just departed on 23 Feb night from HK. The estimated delivery date as indicated is on Thursday.

Anyone managed to snag the Redmi? I wanted to order one but it was sold out. Anyone knows if it will be offered again? I put my name in to be informed when the next batch comes in... but no news.

Tracker says my redmi went from Hong Kong to Philiippines and now in China!
Hope don't screw up.

Just to ask. For my case, I was using s3 LTE for about a year plus. Suddenly it goes up lorry last month. Hence I am back to old iPhone 4 for now. Will this redmi speed be comparable to s3 LTE? Or at least be faster than iPhone 4?

Should be comparable at least.
S3 1.4ghz, Redmi 1.5ghz
Both 1gb ram. Expandable S3 64gb but Redmi 32gb max.

Just wonder how many of you buy redmi as his primary phone or as 2nd phone. In my case I am buying for my kid who currently using my years old galaxy s.

I'm buying for my dad and for my son. Son's Redmi will also be my backup phone.
