users. it's very lag/impossible to view on mobile. works well when project on computer. is it such? pls advise

not lag but just very slow cos on wifi so its understandable. i personally dont use mobile to see.

yes, very convenient with pc.

ok noted. use computer and all good. initially thought need update/something wrong.

btw.. sd onto gadget, tried earlier and is excellent. day/night mode=no horse run..reasonable. only downside is no parking mode. anyway budget is fine.

I have no problem using iPhone 6S to access the video footage via wifi. It's about the same time taken to load a HD movie trailer. Thereafter, just playback and watch. Or upload to facebook or youtube on HD format.


Been using almost a year now. No complains.

Does your Xiaoyi dash cam time and date reset each time you off your engine? Not sure if my dash is faulty as it will reset each time i off engine.

I had a otosaver mounted by the dealer but the cam doesn't have good connectivity. I am thinking of installing a xiaoyi to the rear, which already has a 12V DC type of power cable that was connected to the previous cam. Wonder if anyone knows of any way to connect a USB adaptor to that 12V cable?

Need to build a 12v to 5v regulator. The quick way is to get one of those cheap cegirate adapter and modify it.

Just get a USB port cig charger and plug to the Dashcam. So simple.
