Can go any sony store preorder , receive call from them say can go down tomorrow to preorder
Because Sony mobile's business strategy to stay profitable is to price the few units they sell as highly as possible. If they cut the prices too soon, they end up with the LG effect, where people only buy them when it is seriously discounted.I got the call from Sony 313 Orchard yesterday along with the email
When I asked about other colors, I was told that there will be only green and nothing more nothing less at this point
Kinda deal-breaker to be honest, but then again given current situation, 1.5k SGD for a near-flagship phone is quite tempting but then again Samsung seems more price-competitive this time
This time round the mark Ii were long discontinued before the iiis came inLG cut their prices coz the phones were not selling well..
For sony, wait until mk IV is announced then they will lelong the mk III

Would have preferred pink actually
I was hoping for pink, then if not, black also. Now deciding if I should go ahead or hold some more
Yea, not pink enough. It may be another one year if you decide to wait.I took another look on the expansys website; the pink this time looks bad for some reason, so I may just either go for pre-order green right now and use a printed cover (I recall Sony Singapore did a partnership before?) to make up for it, or just wait for 5 IV

Sighs, seeing that one year wait again I also quite sian lehYea, not pink enough. It may be another one year if you decide to wait.![]()
To be fair, it sounds like Sony managed to tame it well in Xperia 1 III so some concerns mitigated, but still on the fence due to this and other stuffSD 888 is a gamble, tia gong it has issues
Yeah SD 888 has heating issues. If it heats up pretty badly for xperia then the rest of the phones using SD888 can also forget about them.SD 888 is a gamble, tia gong it has issues
