Lazada side told me that all POs must be in by 19th December
That implies that the factory in Thailand is still waiting for the supply of parts to come in in the meanwhile. How many units do you think Sony can sell for Singapore pre order?

Any more reports on the heat issues so far from other countries?
well, based on this reviewer in India, the phone feels less warm than the 1iii? But sd888 is definitely a more power hungry and easy to warm up chip based my experience with other phones with that chip.

realised i posted in the wrong thread, so will repost it here too.

bought screen protector from this local seller a while back, and it doesn't fit well. front camera area doesn't adhere properly. if i fit to the display area and to bottom speaker, the top part protrudes out a tiny bit more than it should. My guess is they selling the 5 ii glass as the 5 iii, since on paper the 5 iii is 1mm shorter. waiting for them to get back to me on shopee. i already confirmed order received, so even if they refuse to take responsibility I also LLST. and i bought 2 pieces. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ will give them some time before i update my feedback for the item (hopefully still can). So meanwhile, just want to steer people away from this.

update: no reply from seller as expected. so already updated my feedback on the listing.

lol. the screen protector is blocking the sensor LOL
yeah. i just asked the seller if they actually tested it with the phone before they made the claim "The fitting is correct" 🤦‍♂️ the cutouts aren't even in the right place.

Hi. Did anyone order using Lazada? I believe that doing so might lead to a slight delay in delivery

Have ordered from Taiwan based devilcase, read from the Xperia sub-reddit that the cases are of good quality, there's free shipping till today for orders above 35 USD.

Got the crystal case from their US online store during black friday sale for free shipping. Can't say I'm too impressed for the price they are charging. The back of the case is about as glossy as the 5 III so it's nearly as slippery and fingerprint magnet as the phone itself. Mine already had macro scratches after a few days.. And I'm not sure if it's just bad tolerance, but mine fits really tight, so god forbid if I need to take it off. I legit fear I might scratch the phone when I took it off once. To be fair, it does feels pretty robust on the hand if I exclude the cosmetic aspect.

The glossy screen protector feels good to touch, but it seems like the one I got is about 1-2mm short on the width? The left side seems to align just nice but the right side have a hairline of pixels lighting up just outside of the border of the screen protector. What annoyed me the most is how the screen protector is pasted on a plastic back that extends a healthy amount beyond the edge of the screen protector itself. So I couldn't do the good old "'door hinge" trick with two scotch tape to ensure best fit before I remove the protective layer off the screen protector.

Tl;dr: avoid if you're OCD on the looks, else they will serve you well. I kinda expect more for it's price tho
