I found this on Amazon JP and it is call the GRAPHT Series and it allows us to charge on the dock too, just like the Otterbox Reflex Series:

Anyone using it or are interested to get it too?

I am keen but the phone in the pic seems to be slightly different from Acro S as there is round input port on the right.

On the last pic, there is a print that says "Xperia Acro HD"..

Bro the extra rounded hole is for the Xperia Acro HD TV Antenna.

The Intl Xperia Acro S is evolve from the desgin of the Xperia Acro HD...just minus the TV Antenna.

So if we have to buy cases from Japan, we have to buy for Xperia Acro HD

The Acro S does charge when plug from the phone USB to the laptop. I have confirmed it with my Acro S

Don't know what this update is for. Do I need to backup my data before doing the update?
