Anyone having issue with the trace together apps?
You means scanning the scanner? Not all scanning machines recognize the phone. (Some NTUC can scan some cannot ~) The currently best you can use the NFC for scanning is place it around 1 cm from the trace to sensor and hold it there. Depend on the scanner, it might scan or not scan. If unable to, use the camera to scan trace together.

Think all xperia phones likely will face this problem which I believe they set the sensitivity to minimum so as not to overreact even when the phone is far away . It likely is the scanner problem too

Correct, my interpretation is this adds a security level to the phone that it wont simply scan in the event the paywave function of Google pay is on and some nefarious user wants to steal credit card info.

Have noticed many entry areas keep beeping when anyone simply walks past the scanner...

Google pay uses NFC, while tracetogether uses Bluetooth. Both are different communications technologies. Don't mix them up. It's something with Sony's bluetooth implementation which is causing the issue with tracetogether. Some non Sony phone models are also not sensitive to the TT gateway, but so far I think Sony phones are the most consistent in not working at TT gateways.

Battle of the 1 inch sensors. Sony with cropped 60 percent vs full 1 inch yet xiaomi 12S Ultra lost in HDR and details. Sony power:

Anyone still using the Pro-i on a regular basis? Would you recommend anyone to purchase a 2nd-hand unit? I'm looking at something with excellent screen quality, camera performance, build quality, decent battery life.
