In the end i have decided to remove both fb and twitter with xperia.

The constant syncing causing the phone to lag even more...

Jus got this phone at kasia.

prelimary observations:
1) screen kind of wash out, i think someone mentioned
2) wifi pickup not strong. even my htc desire x has much better pick up

fully charged battery so lets see how long it last on my usage

how much does it cost?

Anyone can help...just get this phone for one week but notice when mobile data on.. the battery drain very fast ...from fully charge to empty only takes one hour plus...but when data off...the battery level very good...anyone knows how to off those background runnung apps

Find and install better battery stats app. Use it to monitor partial wakelocks. That will be 1 of the many causes that might cause the phone not to go into deep sleep thus draining more battery...

Try using Clean Master App to cancel off/stop those background app running when on home screen it's help to save your phone ram as well as the battery. Also keep phone from lagging too.

I'm using the same phone, with or w/o data plan on, there's not much difference. The most 10%. maybe it's the battery problem?

And anyway, i'm using memory booster lite. Very nice app.

I just read through the sony xperia sp formums from sony, they said it would come tmr or on christmas.... hope its tmr.....

Not sure but 4.4 is coming according to GSMArena.

How is this phone even priced at ~$350 without contract? Faster than quad S4 pro devices AND 4G? Crazy ****. Only downside is the 1GB RAM but wont be an issue with 4.4. Thinking of grabbing one as a Xmas present for my dad, heh.
