4.3 Now rolling for Xperia SP(C5303) Singtel Version, cannot see on PC Companion though

Gerneric Version(Bought Without Contract) Can be flashed with the firmware without voiding warranty Update is coming by the next 4 days even though it shows that it is rolling in SG

Hello SP users, I am considering getting this phone but am also comparing it to the Moto G phone. I know they are different and price wise, SP seems better value due to LTE, microSD slot and faster CPU. However I read on GSMarena reviews that the SP's screen doesn't have good contrast compared to Moto G (816 vs 967) at 100% brightness, and also not as good viewing angles as Moto G.

SO I just want to ask how do you all find the screen quality? I know it can be subjective but I just want to see the general opinion. I am coming from a galaxy s2. Thanks

You'd rub your eyes twice coming from a Super AMOLED+ screen.

You can check it out at Sony stores, the angle once off centre or bang on, will turn orangey and washed out. Z1's Triluminos still wont settle it, and I heard the Z1Compact's IPS screen is really the big step forward.

Thanks for the reply. hmm doesn't sound good at all. a 3 year old tech still better than last year's Sony, why Sony don't ask their TV ppl to give some input lol. Z1C may not even launch in SG and even if it does, it will be far more ex than SP or Moto G.

Got to go see live model of SP before I make a decision. There is also Hongmi lauching online this friday but that one is like Toto, hard to get...

That's what put me off the purchase of this phone as my spare.. Everything nice but the screen..
