If using CC to make purchases then would be JPY>USD>SGD using bank rates of cos..

Nt sure if below applies to the full conversion path or just USD>SGD, Visa/Mastercard charges 1%, Bank wise charges another admin fees..I know OCBC is 1.8% making it a total of 2.8%..SCB if not wrong is 2.5% so total of 3.5%..
