I think so too, as I used Amex and the rate is v bad.

dunno dah... i feelings only... seldom used CC.. the last round i went japan..l brought nearly 700K yen there.... he he...; that was when the rate was 1.3... and have about 180K left over

assuming 3 meals a day, and low-end food (equiv of spore foodcourt)....
budget trip....always....

is it true friday is the worst since it's nearing weekend?
and days nearing public holiday also no good.

their low end food is already about 500yen.. currently SGD rate is about $7.50 ..

want to have discounted meal.. hunt the supermarkets after 830 for bento discount sets... cheaper...

if u change at 15.75, u get 126984 yen
if u change at 15, u get 133333 yen

so difference is 6349 yen, which is about S$100
