I think just launched recently. Just saw the pop-up on the app. Agreed that support would be slow to respond if you can't connect. Thanks for sharing! I didn’t realize that YouTrip also offers eSIMs, similar to Revolut.
However, I couldn’t find much information on who they’ve partnered with to provide this service. Personally, I wouldn’t buy YouTrip’s eSIM for the whole family, as there’s a risk that no one will have access to the internet if something goes wrong.
Additionally, their customer support tends to be quite slow. The last time I raised a support case, which was about a year ago, it took them three days to respond. By that time, most people’s trips are already 30% over. I’m unsure if the response time for eSIM issues is any quicker, but it’s something to consider.

That is why nowadays, people prefer to use their telco roaming data. Now we have abundant data roaming in our plans
That’s exactly what I was trying to find earlier.Further CSI their FAQ

I bought Asia e-sim with airalo. I was able to connect in Japan but not in Korea roaming service provider not listed even when trying to connect manually after troubleshooting. I agreed their support very mafan kept asking me to do this and even after i show them that I had followed their instructions to manually connect to provider. They refund me the amt in airalo credit. I communicate with them using whatapps. Lucky I got eskimo global e-sim as backup else can't even navigate while troubleshooting. That’s exactly what I was trying to find earlier.
I once got an eSIM from a very well-known company (axxxxo), and I had on-and-off data issues with it. Their support was slow, taking anywhere from 12 to 24 hours to reply. In the end, they told me my APN was incorrect.
I was like, "Hold on, you pre-configured the eSIM with the wrong APN!" I asked for a refund, but they redirected me to their website, claiming the APN needs to be verify APN setting based on the country I was visiting, and they rejected my refund request. That was the last time I ever got an eSIM from them.
The data only worked properly during the last two days of my trip when I finally switched to the correct APN. That’s the kind of issue you run into when buying eSIMs providers their APN settings can change randomly, and it’s not always clear what’s going wrong.
speaking of airlo, reminds me of the guy who drive his car from Singapore to China to Mongolia and to Japan and Korea, his video keep talking about airlo every few minutes. Gives me PTSDI bought Asia e-sim with airalo. I was able to connect in Japan but not in Korea roaming service provider not listed even when trying to connect manually after some troubleshooting. They refund me the amt in airalo credit. I communicate with them using whatapps.
Now I like to use eskimo as e-sim validity is 2 years and don't need to install new e-sim for different package.

The jeep drive. So that video on Youtube.speaking of airlo, reminds me of the guy who drive his car from Singapore to China to Mongolia and to Japan and Korea, his video keep talking about airlo every few minutes. Gives me PTSD
yeah, i never watch finish, watch his video till mongolia i stopped watching liao. Very fake guy, giving money to people along Laos, Thailand all these. The first few videos, he kena suan in the comments, can you don't every minute talk about airlo. The jeep drive. So that video on Youtube.
Yeah. My issue was in late 2024 and there whatapps support.I don’t recall WhatsApp support being available the last time I used their service, which was at the end of 2024. Maybe it was added later on. While WhatsApp support is generally great, I’m unlikely to use them again after the whole experience.
This becomes even more problematic for those moving between multiple countries, such as within Europe. Every few days, they encounter new issues and restrictions, making it a painful experience each time.
issued refund via their credits can be impractical, especially for customers who don't travel frequently.
PS: sorry for the side track.
guys side topic, but is there any smartwatch that support MVNO esims?
