then you would have bought stocks 2 years ago, reach march ATH and still not sold, and be sitting on a loss now and then be regretting in another way why you didnt sell in march or earlier

What does 1M55 consists of? Everything like house, cpf, expected ins pay out, stocks and cash?

If one has been maxing cpf contribution, just cpf alone will make 1M55.

I maxed out my CPF MA and SA to FRS this year at age 27. Waiting for the compounding to do its magic.

This year is 181k (FRS)

No worry, earn 4% at least and let t roll till you are 55 (hopefully no change of rule)

For me, I passed 55 liao, so quite safe to be able to draw out excess of FRS which outflowed into OA/SA anytime. I treat CPF like my normal bank account now.

5k a mth for 14 mths.. one yr alr 70k. 150k for 4 yrs only need 37.5k each yr. Net income 56k a year still can spend 15k la hhaha...
