I see. Then depends on yr job and financial situation .But now prices and interest rates are at a high, I would wait for a correction.
Yeah, I was planning this years ahead in advance. But since you guys are talking about properties here. I just check in for a generic opinion.

You need 10k salary for that.
Even S$10k salary is tough if u have a family. Depending on yr age, repayment prob S$4-6k a mth leaving little for expenses.

My salary about S$10k now and already little savings. No extra to repay any loan.

Not really. We have a normal jap car, maid and 2 kids. Already not going much on holidays. But every month also got some kind of big expense like zip blinds for balcony, mum's hospital bill, boy's homeschooling fees and invisalign braces.

Yes, negative net worth if own residence is excluded. In addition to that, I still owe bank:
1 other property loan: 380000 sgd
Overseas property loans: 2.24 million ringgit = 672000 sgd.

clock is ticking and I have to think of a solution.
wah u msian?

why buy msia ppty? good rental yield?

Bank Negara just announced another rate hike, i am doomed.
Do you watch the YouTube videos of iherng in which he reviews Malaysian property? I find them very interesting. He did a podcast once with a Singaporean real estate agent lady and he was explaining how Malaysia you can get 100% loan and she was quite shocked. He was also shocked when she told him about SG TDSR rules ABSD etc. In the end his advice was SGD is strong currency and it is very difficult to generate returns from Malaysian property, after factoring in the exchange rate devaluation.
