Same here.. i tested on xiaomi x and iphone x and it is having the same speed of 0.3mbps..

They should at least provide 4mbps- 10mbps for standard streaming on 720p...

Actually 720p30 should be watchable for for short videos. Youtube app buffers about 2 mins for 720p30.

Really meh youtube I only saw 720p60 where did you find 720p30 in youtube or app?

That is for non 60/50 fps video.

Enable "stat for nerds" in youtube app setting can check how much is the readahead. 720p60 buffer is about 60-70 sec.

failing to provide subscribers the promised network / data speed (ie. those quoted online services such as youtube that were promised by 01 that they will not be affected by the managed / throttled speed).

send an email to 01 (yes@zero1.sg) to ask for an explanation, and copy imda (info@imda.gov.sg) in your email.

last resort (for those facing serious issues, be reasonable).
always copy (cc) imda, local social media sites in your email to 01.

Wow thanks learn something here, but again they should just allow at least 10mbps if managed speed, this is like some dsl modem type of speed standard who still focus on 1mbps. Gosh hope they will change it soon.

I am on the 29.90 plan missed out the 19 dollar, trying out this plan, and have another plan with SingTel which is more premium. Since they cannot write proper what works and what not works people here have the rights to let Imda knows.

It’s their choice to complain.

"WhatsApp, emails, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and Youtube". All can work without much difference. the only difference for youtube is 480p instead of 720/1080p.

One more thing, i saw that you signed up the $29.90 plan. Means you have sufficient enough time to search this thread with many post stating the throttled speed is 1Mbps.

They are offering unlimited data for just $19. You can't expect much. After all they have to buy data from SingTel, not free.

Obviously you missed the 19 doller promo and had ample time to read reviews here.
