Porting from m1 Wed receive SIM card , now 11 pm old m1 Sim no service. Pop in Zero1 Sim also no service. Jialat Liao

Finally it works. Would like to share my timeline porting from m1

Monday sign up online
Wed 11am sin card delivered
Friday 11pm m1 SIM card cannot work , pop in zero1 sim also no service
Saturday 6am still no service. Restart iphone and got zerp1 service. All working well

from the faqs i think the plans from aug onwards is follow activation date and not from 1st day of the month

Should be charged from activation date. Mine was pro rated.

Was using $19 3GB plan. Very happy with it, even after exceeding 3GB. Cancelled due to change in usage pattern. I'm now spending more time overseas and can't even finish the 1GB flexi plan with Circle.life.

Basically they are riding on SingTel's network which should not be scrabby.

Using since launch, no complains so far. After the 3GB, network still usable for Twitter, FB, Youtube, but Instagram need to wait a few more secs for the photos to load. Cheers

Means 3gb full speed, after 3gb used up it's unlimited throttled speed

Speed = 1Mbps or worst

It's very usable though. I frequently stream YouTube at 360/480 and don't experience any lag. Doubt you need 1080 viewing on a phone. Lol..

That is incorrect. The throttled speed is definitely higher than the 50 kbps max theoretical 2G speed.

I also share my updates on the porting. Myrepublic to Zero1

16 Sept: Signed up
19 Sept: Received SIM in the morning
20 Sept: Received a SMS at 1am- Port of Service XXX has been received.
20 Sept: Received a SMS at 11am - The port of XXX has been approved.
21 Sept: The old MR SIM card has no signal at 11pm. Zero1 Sim can be used.

So far today I finish my 1GB, the throttled speed definitely better than MR.
Those who want to switch over, can switch if the price is okay for you.

Signal wise: Z1 better for me cause my office MR no signal or one bar while z1 is 3 bar at least and stable.

My personal review, for those thinking of changing. I'm also using M1 due to traveling overseas, their data passport is useful but having Z1 as data is quite okay and worth it.

My sim card got activated this morning. So far very satisfied with the speed. I'll post speedtest results after I use up the 1 GB.

If this works well for me, I'll cut my Circles Life regular line and retain this one as my secondary sim (for my tab).
