for my experience, and what others have shared, just let the call ring through, if the spam call comes in, just silent it, let it stop by itself, do not reject or pick up.Hi all,
i emailed z1 to ask how to avoid being charged for Singapore calls to me when I’m overseas & below is their replies… do any of u happen to have any workaround or suggestions?
tks
- Incoming and outgoing voice calls, as well as outgoing SMS, are chargeable under roaming rates once connected to a partner network, regardless of usage.
- There is no way to avoid incoming call charges while roaming. Charges apply as long as the call connects to the network, even if unanswered or rejected.
- You may refer to the full roaming voice and SMS rates
good thing there is no voice mail. I still remember last time on M1, there is voice mail and got charges for the calls, cause it re-directed to voice mailI just ignore and leave the incoming calls unanswered if I am overseas .. turn my phone upside down.
MVNOs don't provide voicemails
Strange that on my iPhone on Zero1 - under "Deleted Voicemail", I do see some messages, perhaps answered and transcribed by the iPhone itself?I just ignore and leave the incoming calls unanswered if I am overseas .. turn my phone upside down.

IOS stuff? Samsung has call recording features .. not sure IOS implemented this don't mix up with voicmailStrange that on my iPhone on Zero1 - under "Deleted Voicemail", I do see some messages, perhaps answered and transcribed by the iPhone itself?
Anyway, have turned off the feature on the iPhone which might be the likely culprit - "Live Voicemail".
ios26 introduced voice mail, record by phone, not telco. can disable.IOS stuff? Samsung has call recording features .. not sure IOS implemented this don't mix up with voicmail
Then, it is a call recording feature, not really a voicemail, similar to Samsungios26 introduced voice mail, record by phone, not telco. can disable.
it is voice mail. it will only activate when the call is not answered. Got a lot of robot scam calls from China. Haha. Then, it is a call recording feature, not really a voicemail, similar to Samsung

"Z1P6F62504SF". Customers who port-in and stay for 6
months will enjoy their 7th to 12th months free. The actual free
months may vary slightly depending on your bill cycle. Free
months are not applicable for Singtel, Singtel-brands (GOMO
and Heya) and MVNOs using Singtel's network (Zym, Vivifi and
CMLink) port-in.

When I used to roam, I had all calls diverted to +651. SMS still came through as usual, but callers only heard a busy tone when they tried to reach me. I haven't been billed for any of these diverted calls so far.
I was able to do so, diverting ALL calls to a line that can take calls for free eg. Simba/eight.Somebody gave this advice on how to avoid the calls while overseas.
It didn't work for me (i.e. I get an error and unable to proceed).
