If you were at or around Suntec, most likely it's about prioritisation, not "going down".

Going down = no connection, so no 4G/5G. If it were connected but no data flowing, it means others were prioritised over users with lower priority (i.e. MVNOs, GOMO). This is what going with ST's 2X and 4X priority will give users when there is crowd density.
there were reports of Singtel customers also going down for around 30 minutes around 6:20 pm yesterday, not just suntec area.

So it is not prioritisation; it's going down. No data for that brief period.

It's not the second or third time i have experienced this with Zym and Zero1.

Well, our resident Singtel fan seems to disagree with this even when Downdetector says otherwise. ;)

It may mean Singtel MNO plans are okay but Zym/Zero MVNO plans can be down due to congestions (lower priority).

From Downdetector SingTel, there were quite some reports of issues at around 6:47pm today with the peak at 234 incidents. The duration is quite short though.

https://downdetector.sg/status/singtel/

So far no reports of issues in the SingTel SIM Only thread, only reported by Zym and Zero1 users.

He does repeatedly insist that Singtel SIM-Only is higher than MVNOs, so there's conflicting info for users.

yeah. Yersterday somemore it went down 30 minus just when i was a maxx booth doing registration to port over. Both of my zym and zero1 went down, no data.

I told them Singtel network down, they laugh. I ask if can borrow wifi, they say no have. So then i connected to Suntec wifi to do the singpass verification and payment of $60.

Or maybe Singtel do this regularly "issue" to bring people to experience the real Singtel MNO network with good prioritisation. End of the day, Singtel is da best.

Anyway, recently, I took a few trips on EWL (underground between Tiong Bahru and City Hall). Ever since they switched to 5G SA, the speeds underground got deprioritised- super slow.

You can forget about streaming audio and surfing the net during peak hours and i am not even talking about watching and streaming videos.

At least for maxx which is used previously on 5G SA, i was able to do all these things very smoothly during peak hour, underground.

No idea what you are talking about.

For DownDetector, users reporting issues from Singtel MVNOs like Gomo/Singtel hi/Zym/Zero/VIVIFI/CMLink will count as Singtel mobile network issues.

I am just saying that there were NO reports of issues from the Singtel SIM Only thread.

It may mean Singtel MNO plans are okay but Zym/Zero MVNO plans can be down due to congestions (lower priority).

I have used Zym and Singtel SIM Only at the same time for 2.5 months. So I have first hand experiences saying that SingTel SIM Only Plan does have higher prority based on my own experiences.

Whether you see it is another story.
