I recently received my Zero1 simcard. The first 3GB of data is indeed un-throttled, with speeds of 30mbps average on 4G network. The nightmare begins after the first 3GB of data. The bandwidth dropped to a pathetic 1mbps (regardless if you are on 3G or 4G network) for ALL apps, even though Zero1 claimed that "WhatsApp, emails, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and YouTube will work normally". A HD clip on Youtube cannot even play smoothly.

I emailed to Zero1 and this is their reply;
"The speed is not a static variable but it is dynamically adjusted according to the type of applications users are using, the network condition of the websites users are trying to reach and the network utilization at that time. Our objective is to give our customers a positive experience so that you would not have to worry about the technical matters!"

How can a user not worry when a basic HD video can't be streamed smoothly? For the benefit of doubt, I tried streaming a HD clip over Youtube during various times of the day and night, end result was the same.

This plan is really catered for users who use their smart phones just for basic data needs. For those who are looking for un-throttled unlimited data plan, you might have ti forgo this provider.

Maybe they sell add on to enable full speed mobile data for a day similar to circle life.

Come on, let's not be uncivil and make personal attacks.
You are too defensive of Zero1 and people might think if you are related to Zero1.

This is a public forum where users are open to discuss views and comments.
The problem undisputable now is that Zero1 are definitely having problems porting over some of the customers' mobile numbers.
They should try to resolve their own problems while not penalizing the affected customers.

Nobody is threatening anything.
People are just casually discussing possible courses of remedies and actions
If anyone has committed a criminal offence, the police and govt regulators will take care of it.

Let's be civil and do not insult other forum users by saying only what you say is correct and things you don't agree is "sprouting nonsense".
A lot of people here are highly educated and can judge for themselves.

I apologise to you if I have offended you in any way.
Come on, Singapore should be a friendly country and thus it is natural that affected customers having problems with their number porting discuss ways to resolve the problem over public forums.

If you are an affected customer, please help contribute your ideas of solving the problem too.

If you are not an affected customer, sincerely hope you can offer constructive and helpful comments rather than the unfriendly comments below.

Hey, I don't mean to offend you. I too am waiting for port-in, having started with another fresh number. I am just pointing the facts (esp about what you mentioned about police etc), don't want people to be misled by your comments.

I think it's reasonable to give them 2~3 months to sort things out. It's better to have more competition to bring down the price / bring up the service, rather than shutting them down.

Btw I am still waiting for the sim card...

Signed up on 16th and i gt my sim card today. Just tried and it is running on H+. LOL. Damn laggy and once in a while will switch to 3g but H+ most of the time. Any people having same issues?

Mine is ok after abt 2 days after receiving the sim card. Maybe u can monitor and see whether it improves.
