Z1 Still sucks ... port out 18dec still charge me JAn bills, emailed them numerous time with this "E-ticket" system their reply still checking with their network partner (singtel) on the port out process ...

lucky there's an option to delete any CC details on the account page.

As for the billing, yes Zero1 requires you to give them 1 month notice, if you dont inform them, they will still charge you 1 month forward.

At this time, you have so called left zero1. Zero1 will still charge you 1 month anyway. Wait for the zero1 bill to come which will take forever… meanwhile if you can, delete the credit card in the zero1 account, this will prevent them from charging you 3 days after the bill comes to you.

Just two quick follow-ups:

1. In my invoice dated 1 January 2019 I was charged the advance rental of S$19 for the 1 month forward, as you have explained, for 1-31 January 2019.

So, if I port out, say on 25 January, then will there still be an invoice on 1 February with rental for 1-28 February? Or, will they charge some prorated amount for 1 February to 24 February types, because the one month notice is from the date of porting out/aka termination?

2. And if the card is deleted on the account, how do we actually pay when the bill comes in? I don't see a "pay bill here" link on their website.

1. I dont think they charge pro rated amount. They likely charge full month. So your maximum damage is likely $19?!

They already billed you 1-31 Jan 2019, (thats your bill cycle) so if you port out on Jan 25th, they will still bill you 1-28th Feb cause you suppose to inform them 1 month in advance. If you inform them any day in Feb, they will likely bill you 1-31 March 2019 etc....

The above is the likely scenario how they will charge you....

However, what you can do is, if u are very sure u gonna terminate, email them now and get the confirmation on the last day. Before that last day comes, port out. So you wont get a "spillover" to the new month if something cocks up...

2. Put back the card in your Zero1 account for them to charge (within 3 days) if the bill is ok to you. If you have dispute, then email the billing email until its sorted then put back the cc to pay.

Here is a snapshot of my bill and my timeline

Zero1 Sim card activated 14 Nov 2018
Sent an email to them on 22nd November 2018 to request termination. (After seeing remarks in this post)
Got back to me and said termination will be done on 14 Jan 2019.
Jumped ship to singtel on 22nd Dec 2018.(15gb for $20 promo)
Zero1 number ported to Singtel sim card successfully on 2nd Jan.
Received zero1 bill on 2nd Jan (2 weeks after bill cycle)

That's the registration fee. $9.90 plan has to pay the registration fee.

anyway from the bill seems like each month only paying roughly 9.3 instead of 9.9:s13::s13:

zero1 really is CMI royalty, well i am paying less per month so cant really complain about this small mistake.

That's the price before 7% GST... So registration fee you are paying is $10.70 and the monthly fee is $9.90...

Question. Zero1 has no data roaming but they have roaming SMS and calls? I just need SMS and calls as I'm relocating and will have local sim overseas for data

day 7 , my zero1 line is still down for incoming calls / sms.

working for data and outgoing calls..

more than 24 hours, issue stil not resolved, have replies, but no one can call in, no one can sms in still..


never expected this to happen..

never thought of that before, but the thought of needing to move elsewhere suddenly pops up..

i am glad if have move out of zero.1 .... but they still owe me 1 month of bill charge in Jan as i have ported out and email them to terminate the account billing in december still no solution to it yet their reply "checking with our network partner on the porting out"....

have been using zero1 for the past 2wks.
the throttled speed is at 1mbps according to speedtest. barely usable for youtube and gaming always get disconnection. will port to other telco soon.

you need one month service before you can port out and terminate
