Ported out Zero1 number to Starhub 2+ weeks ago. Did not inform Zero1 in advance, just ported out.

Zero1's website under "My Services Management" still shows number as "activated". Is that normal?

Mine was the same. I wrote to them saying that my number was ported a few weeks ago. The zero 1 sim was already dead after porting. They wrote back after a few days saying that they have updated the system. Now the website shows 'terminated'.

Write in to them, otherwise next month might receive another bill again, I guess their website and billing system is not link to the telco system unlike Circle life.

What a last century technology LOL

Just surfed to Zero1's website a few minutes ago. Only the $29.99/month 3GB to Unlimited plan is available for signing up now. Zero1 may not have anticipated the demand for their $9.99/month 1 GB to Unlimited plan to far exceed expectations. Looks like Zero1 is revamping their business model for profitability now...

If they remove the 9.90 plan, the demand will drop. The other plans aren't that attractive.

Circles Life offer $28 for 20GB at 4G speed. Quite hard to be beaten by other MVNOs tbh

Actually now have better plans from the 3 telcos. If you don't mind contract, singtel has $20 for 20gb, M1 has $20 for 15gb with adding $5 for another 5gb.

If you have access to CIS plan and you don't need the new phone, you can get from M1 35gb for less than $15 after selling the phone.

i email them to upgrade my plan, they did reply to me:s13:

yeah, same here. but their procedures way too troublesome for end user, gonna port out very soon..

and everything got to self service (go to their office etc., wait time) yet still have to pay $32.10 admin fees. also the upgrade is not caused by subscriber but rather their backend issue, the more i don't see why we should pay.

and now market rate is $20 get about 15GB to 20GB per month, it's not really a bonus or promotion, more of an adjustment to stay competitive with the rest.

1. You are required to self-collect the new SIM card at our office with your original NRIC for verification on scheduled date from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), between 10am and 5pm. Please avoid lunch hours, 12noon - 2pm.

We are located at:
1 Lor 2 Toa Payoh
#05-08 Braddell House
Singapore 319637

2. We need at least 3 – 5 working days to prepare your new SIM after your confirmation.

3. We will schedule a date for you to collect the new SIM.

4. Collection of new SIM is strictly by appointment only. Please confirm by replying to this email for scheduling SIM collection date.

5. Once you have received the new SIM, please allow 1 business day for activation and it will be scheduled between 2pm and 6pm.
For example:
- if SIM is collected on Monday, activation will be done on Tuesday
- if SIM is collected on Friday, activation will be done on the following Monday

6. You may continue to use your old SIM card, however the service may be disrupted during the period from 2pm to 6pm on next business day.

7. Check your phone from 2pm onwards to see if you are connected to our mobile network. If you are not connected, pop-in your new SIM card and check that you are connected to Zero1 and you are good to go. Otherwise just insert your new SIM card any time after 6pm.

8. Your current billing cycle will be changed and will start on the day your new SIM card is activated. Your account will be migrated to our new billing platform and hence you will see some billing adjustments in your monthly bill.

9. The new SIM supports international voice and SMS roaming. Your roaming call and SMS will be charged at Zero1’s prevailing roaming rates.

10. An admin fee of $32.10 (with GST) is applicable upon successful upgrade.

11. If you have opt to change to a higher bandwidth plan than your current plan, a new subscription fee will be effective upon successful upgrade; otherwise, the subscription fee remains unchanged.

Their CS is what makes me port out from them. You practically is not able to reach them if you have any issue. So if you unlucky happened to lost your SIM etc, you will remain uncontactable for quite awhile. They are currently only interested in sales and don't really care much about CS. You can see from the way they mostly only reply sales related enquiry.
