Most plans now have Roam World 198 countries 15/30GB for 365 days.
Appears to be new, anyone saw it earlier ?

Looks pretty useful.

Saw that on Zero1 website. I think that is only for new customers, don't think it's applicable for existing customers. Nothing so good for us.

They also didn't give us the 50Gb Japan china Au roaming, so I don't expect the the 30Gb world roaming from them

Me...

Alternative to ST $15.28 plan if can't get for whatever reason.
No 12-month contract.
More decent customer service email respond time compared to the likes of Eight.

Guess I need to drill down.

1) One reason which is no longer true.

Previously Zym does not support eSIM so users may choose Zero1 and not Zym. But now Zym has added the support for eSIM.

2) Zym is more strict for the promotions than Zero1.

So in some cases you may have to port from non-Singel-network plans to Zero1 and not Zym in order to enjoy the benefits.

read.the T&C zym is strict about returning customer that was with them paat 12 mth to get the offers

Good point, maybe can consider Zero1 in this case, still need to move out to non SingTel network first to enjoy the benefits though.

Zym, Zero1 and VIVIFI usually will come out very similar new benefits.

CMLink will usually get the same benefits but sometimes its offering is slightly different.

Is it possible to subscribe a new line before traveling just to use the global 198 roaming and then cancel after trip or when the 30GB is depleted? Rinse & repeat for next trip?

You should be able to do that with Zero1 or VIVIFI.

Zym will charge you first two months upon sign-up. But the first month is pro-rated. So not bad either. But take note Zym may have terms and conditions to prevent existing customers in the past 12 months to enjoy the promotions.

CMLink had similar terms like Zym but they have not announced this global roaming data bundle promotion yet. Maybe they do not follow the other three ST MVNOs this time.
