Anybody encounter issues moving Zero1 eSIM from one phone to another?

Followed their steps to unbind/deactivate the eSIM from my old iPhone, waited 2 freaking hours, and still couldn't request a new QR code. Website just kept throwing cryptic errors.

CSO kept insisting it was my Wi-Fi problem and the eSIM wasn't deactivated properly.

Ended up travelling down to their Ubi centre. Manager also confidently said their system had no issue and it was either my Wi-Fi or I had exceeded the 3 eSIM requests.

Argued for a while, flip prata left and right, then he asked another staff to show me the QR code.

Scanned it.

Boom, activated immediately.

Then still told me, “I waive the $5 for you.”

Bro, I already wasted 3 hours plus taxi fare because your system couldn't give me the QR code, and somehow it was still “customer problem”.

Whole experience damn awful.

Ported to Singtel hi!Card after this. Enough already.

Why need to ask for qr code when I can scan the original one in the email?

Transfered esim onto new 18pro. Delete esim from old phone. On new phone scan original qr code sent in email immediately. All done.

I'd probably switch to GOMO cos got 50% discount using safra code GOMOSAFRA50. $9.99 for 4 mths. Dunno if they will verify if one is safra member or not. Haha.

No, it is a promo code based activity, but what if Gomo decided to check and found out you scam them, will they deduct you plan in full instead? Worse still, detain and terminate your line? 🤣
