Another possibility: M1 Maxx actually earned some money during the process. And Zym and Zero1 do not really gain more customers.

Looks like many M1 Maxx customers are trying to port out to Zym/Zero1 recently (and maybe VIVIFI and CMLink as well). And these "M1 Maxx" customers may not really be ture M1 Maxx customers, but rather existing Singtel MNO/MVNO customers who use M1 Maxx as an interim plan to go and them jump back to the the other Singtel MVNO (especially Zero1 and Zym) to enjoy non-Singtel-network port-in offer.

Example:
1) 10000 existing Zero1 customers who jumped to Maxx then jumped to Zym to enjoy the promotion of Zym.
2) 10000 existing Zym customers who jumped to Maxx then jumped to Zero1 to enjoy the promotion of Zero1.

After the above two, Maxx lost zero customers and earned S$158,000 (S$7.9 plan) or S$200,000 (S$10 plan) in the process, Zero1 and Zym gained zero customers.

I didnt make any calls so far .. but it will take up your local call minutes. Edit* Assumed this is for local to call IDD not the other way

You can call out but it is not included in your IDD call minutes (V019 IDD is only from SG to overseas location), but rather under pay per use roaming voice rate.

Calling out from Malaysia/Brunei to Singapore is not too bad at S$0.46 per minute.

If you are calling out from other places to Singapore, it will be at S$6.30 per minute!

Anyone who is like me who didn't get the free 3 months and had their account suspended after porting in from non-ST Telco?

My free 3 months with Zym started this month and they send me an email to acknowledge the free activation and the billing was correct as compared to Z1 who continue charging me the normal rate.

They said is lapsed payment for October 2026. But my account should be from end of June 2026. But from their POV month 1-3 starts from Aug - Oct. Month 4-6 starts from Nov - Jan.

Totally different from Zym billing period.

z1 bill be every 1st of the month, every mvno have different billing systems

When did u sign up for z1 and what's the plan? 3mth + another 3 mths free? Usually the free months come after u paid the first 3 mths.

End of June lor. Already paid for July, Aug & Sept already. By right should start from Oct. My plan is 3 mths + another 3 mths free.

Now Revolut app down, saw confirmation on Reddit... Youtrip was down yesterday or few days back according to news.
