My Note 7 shows me on 4G+ but my axon 7 shows 3G with the data arrows then 3G again above the signal strength indicator...

You can use LMT like "pie control". Not sure whether you need root..

the azon 7 mini comes with the android TCS navigation buttons , possibility for future updates ?

Not sure about support spare parts, but China warranty, and I suppose you can send to Sim Lim, those people there repairing all quite good.

Previously using Nexus 6 and the connectivity seems like no diff. Casing might have to get it oversea. Should be quite difficult to get locally

The set comes with a TPU case which u can use. Screen protector i got a film one from the seller. Note that the screen is also 2.5D at the sides, if glass won't have full coverage.

Another thing is the phone in SG warranty covers screen replacement in the first year. Hence can afford to use naked if you are comfortable

The reception is pretty good. I seem to be getting stronger wifi signal than my note 7 at home.
