OTA for Oreo has come, seems like all axon 7 G models will receive it if they are on B12
Just go to system updates and check.

Update: This one is quite some time riao, but ZTE has removed the Oreo OTA, to get that update, you need to be on Nougat B12 and email ZTE your IMEI (from what I heard)

DIY to replace battery Axon 7

Axon 7 still a good phone to retire....

Don’t want to waste a good phone so I just ordered battery from AliExpress - S$18/-
Should be receiving the battery end of this month.

Will try to replace the battery myself. I think YouTube got tutorials ....

Feel like changing phone alr. 2 hrs of screen on time is really terrible.

Btw, Axon 9 Pro which released last year now has a lower storage+RAM option for just 2099rmb. It's not bad considering got Snapdragon 845 and IP68. But sadly, it doesn't have a headphone jack which is a must for me.

IMO they ruined it, the selling point of Axon 7 was the audio, but they changed to downward firing leh
Also noticed my phone batt drop damn fast, sometimes charging can go up to 50 degrees Celsius. Or it's just moi phone case

Just now spent 1 hour dismantling the phone and replace the battery.
Original is 3170mha I change to OEM 3750mha capacity....

All seem good.... now charging up the battery.


Waa... Super fast charge... from 40% to full charge takes about an hour...

You buy battery from AliExpress... it comes with the tools.

For heating to loosen the glue, I just use hairdryer ...
