But how do u know the other person is in other country? I recently called a local number. He told.me he is in malaysia. I was not billed for the call.
Cos the person i'm calling told me what he did just now, now going to the beach and later dinner all these, tomorrow then come back.

Means you same scenario as me, call the number when the person is overseas, not billed

Should be free since long time ago. Call.local.number should not be billed for IDD?

Your ST main line is 5G right. Yeah, it's how singtel set their priority level. Mvno gets lowest priority. That's being said, my data in tunnel is slow. Make noise to mvno also no use. They are also cannot do anything

You were just saying no one say anything about ST. Then I said my piece and you say also no use. What's next in your playbook? :ROFLMAO:

i remember last time, when one is overseas, when you call them, you will be charged for overseas call. Cos technically, the person is already not in local network but overseas.

Maybe overseas calls r now routed through IP telephony, so can give many free minutes compared to in the past? Just guessing.

Most probably. The person i called is using Simba. Simba always have free calls back to SG when overseas, most probably their calls are routed voip.

Don't recall this to be an issue.
Calling local number means pay local rates (from free minutes first)
In most cases there is no way you can determine the called party is overseas or not before the call, so if you are charged overseas call rates you could easily get a bill shock. The called party pays roaming charges for the call though.

I used to call a customer that regularly travel overseas on SG mobile number, never got charged anything beyond local minutes, and that was in the 2G/3G days.

when you call a local number, you are charged from your local calls bundle -ie free

when a person with local number picks up a call while roaming overseas, he is charged roaming rates

always been this way, dunno where you get your ideas from :s22:

Relax.

Last time when I was on traffic light telco, when you call someone, you don't know if he or She is overseas, but when bill comes, you will be in shock. Since when I called overseas.

I have called people from SG when they were overseas and I have never been charged IDD rates
eg for Singtel, to get charged IDD rates, you have to dial 001 or 019 followed by country code, then the phone number

you will never get bill shock if you dial any 8-digit local number from SG.
If the receiver is overseas and he answers the call, he pays for roaming, not you

you are weird :s22: :s22:
