Just swapped my Cisco non-DVR STB to a Tatung DVR STB today.

Not too sure of what it means, perhaps can call in and check with them..

I have just gotten a miotv additional STB. but it displayed singtel tv service not available. please call to re activate? Do i need to wait for some period before it will self activate or do I need to call in to activate?

tried restart but to no avail. Now calling 1688 and waiting to connect tru....zzz
works if i plug back my old STB but not with the new 1. The Link and HD led got lit up also.

Later then try wait again....waiting 4ever on the line. I tried the ciscso diagnotics by press and hold the power button. failed the DNS test.

Does anyone know why my setup box keeps interfering with my internet connection? It always happen whenever channels are being switched or the setup box itself is on/off, the internet connection to my PC gets cut off as well

Hi Guys,
Can i check for the connections for Fiber + MioTV + PC.
1. TP point in cabinet -> ONR -> LAN input -> living rm LAN output -> Wireless Router -> both MioTV & PC can be used concurrently



2. TP point in cabinet -> ONR -> LAN input -> living rm LAN output -> Switch -> Wireless Router & MioTV & PC?


Which is better or any suggestions?

Since your are using onr, the wireless router you use must operate in ap mode. If you're using the wireless router from singtel, it will turn to an ap mode automatically.

In that sense, a switch must be unmanaged and must support igmp snooping in order for singtel tv to work..

So this ONR is able to issue ip address like a DHCP?

thats right, only AP will work well with ONR, and ONR does have a DHCP server for issuing IP address.

which AP to use, you go decide by reading around, cos too many options already..

Anyone know which ac router model to replace the singtel router... ? I am using singtel tv and singtel voice too. I am tearing out my hair having to off and on my phone wifi every 30 mins or so just to reconnect to wifi at home... Definitely not my phone as i do not encounter this when connected to other wifi network...

Are you using a Samsung phone with Android 8? Singtel mentioned that there's WiFi issue with their AC Plus and Elite routers when connecting to Samsung phones with Android 8.

Kindly download the latest patch from Google.

On a side note, we are aware of the Wi-Fi connectivity issues since March 2018 and understand that this does not only affect Singtel routers.

Let us know if you have other questions.

Singtel , my Lenovo tablet (already updated to latest patch) and also Lenovo Windows desktop also shows Wi-Fi connected but no internet available .... even though internet LED is lighted on the A.C. Elite router with TV STB working. It's very obvious the A.C. Elite and A.C. Plus are flawed. Should you not offers other replacement router models for all of us affected? Maybe the Razer Portal Wi-Fi router? You should not claim it's an OS issue with our devices and conveniently close the case correct? And I assume you are still missing out all these problem routers to news subscribers correct? Please clarify. Thanks.
