Hi again, so I'm done with account opening and I can see the screen showing this means I am good to go transfer the funds and earn up to 2.5% like what has been mentioned here upthread ? I thought there is a wait list to get onto and wait for approval? Thanks

Yes, looks ok. Can transfer say, $500 first. Needs minimum $500 to activate the account.

As for the waitlist, I believe Singlife "abolish" that. Yesterday I tried to apply and it says I am on waitlist. Today I tried applying (using 2 different mobile no.; but of course only proceeded with 1 mobile no.), and realized no more "waitlist".

Transferred in via my DBS account to my Singlife account and the amount was updated within seconds.

Did a $1 withdrawal to my DBS account and received the amount within 5 mins.

Singlife's reply on facebook regarding one guy's query on the interest rate at 2.5%/p.a.

"Hi, Singlife intends to pay you 2.5% p.a. returns on your first S$10,000 for the first policy year. Interest is calculated on a daily basis and paid to you at the end of each policy month. Any interest paid to you is guaranteed and available for you to withdraw or spend."

Wah... This singlife ah. Pattern many many. Must ask MAS to really look into this type of adverts. All future adverts to carry something specific and not like this

Have watsapp them and was told that the app has some issue.

Hi @DOINK1, André here, I am the Singlife Mobile product owner here in Singapore. The app did have a hiccup on Thursday morning, due to a large influx of new invites, but systems are stable now. Encourage you to try again. If you encounter any problems, just reach out to us via the "Get Support" function.

Hi @testingabc, you can withdraw at any time, with no penalties or fees, to a Singapore bank account under your name, straight from the app.

Hi @tengaboys. Not to worry, MAS has already looked into all our product communications so far, and it has all been signed off, as procedures dictate. We're working hard at Singlife so you don't have to worry. Cheers, André.

Hi @oceanicmanta, mmm you got me on this one. Let me ask the person in charge of our policy administration system so I can be extra sure here. Let you know. Cheers, André.

Happy it worked out fine for you @yiron. It's early days for us, but am working extra hard with the team to make those transfers in and out are as fast as possible.

i started with $500 yesterday
today it shows $0.03 interest earned
that works out to be 2.19%pa
lower EIR probably due to rounding
will try higher amount today

Can I ask you to log that with our CS team, in-app via the "Get Support" function, @oceanicmanta? Would like to make sure that your interest is behaving correctly, but I am not allowed to ask for your contact information here (PDPA rules).

Hi @hwsemb, we have removed the waitlist functionality Thursday morning, and we are now monitoring the organic sign-ups to ensure everyone has a smooth journey in.
