If you mean giro deduction from uob one account, it counts as one of three Giro bill payment.

If you meant recurring payment using eligible credit/debit card, it counts towards the $500 card spend for bonus interest but does not count to card rebate/points though.

I see, fair enough. Thanks for clarifying!

Those of you who uses GIRO for your SP power bill may need to check it out. This month the govt is topping up quite a huge sum of money as part of the budget to help citizens during this COVID-19 situation.

If you are relying on this particular bill for 1 of 3 GIRO to meet the criteria for bonus interest, do take note.

That’s why I have 5 Giro , other than SP and town council , I add in 3 more telco bill GIRO.

I myself is not using GIRO, so I am OK. Just that can't get more 6% CC rebate for the next 2 months.

Doesnt matter, just treat as prepay for the singtel bill

TOP up dash via Uob one credit card will not count toward the $500 min spending for the saving account interest

But pay $500 to singtel bill via one pass, will count toward the $500 min spending but money will be stucked inside once they cease topup dash via singtel bill

He means that topping up to dash via singtel bill will no longer b doable

So if u pay 500 to singtel bill u can only use the 500 to pay for the singtel bill and not topup to dash. So essentially means 500 stuck there loh

I am confused. If you top up $200 to DASH via Singtel bill, why would the money be stuck in there? You mean u cannot spend the $200 you top up in DASH?

Let it rest. No point trying to explain further to that goondusami. He's not on the same wavelength as everyone else. Still want to be so aggressive. :s13::s8:

appreciate your explanation, now I understand after u mentioned prepay. I also think some people should myob and not call people stupid, not everyone is as smart as you. I admit I am sometimes slow to understand, especially when the person is not clear in his statement. Please check earlier that I am not the only person who was trying to get what Sinkie meant after he posted. If Sinkie and the others think i was aggressive when i was trying to find out, then i apologise to him here and the others who might be offended by my words.

Hi all, any other alternative for people with 0 income? I am one of the unfortunate one whom cannot filfill the salary requirement. :(

Uobone doesnt require a salary. Anything without salary..better off staying with uobone.

Unless u dont mind even lower.. u dunit any credit card spend

Can anyone advise if grab top up is still counted toward the accrual for the base spending rebate ($500/1000/2000)?

From the T&C, it only explicitly mentioned grab top up is now not eligible for the additional rebate but it didn't say anything bout the base rebate though

If we order grab food, it's still worth it to use UOB One cos it's 5% rebate if we meet min $500 spending right?

Grab top-up no longer counts towards spend for the min. $500-2000 spending a month
