If monthly salary credited below $2000 then maybe. Alternative is dbs multiplier

I see. Does both UOB One card and UOB and UOB One Debit Mastercard works the same in the sense that there will be up to 3.88% p.a. on your savings with UOB One Account as long as you spend S$500 monthly.

Both uob one credit and debit card count to $500 spend for bonus interest. Both if can use credit card, of cos use it to get higher card rebate also.

Can use 3x giro instead of salary crediting for higher tier interest.

More importantly uob one account effective interest will only be maximum 1.796% for $75k savings starting in May. If savings is less than effective interest% drop even lower.

If less than 75k, what other account is better?

Bro, thank you for mentioning this account here. Some of us signed up for the HLB 1.98% promo in February which ends in April. Can I suggest u post this under the FD tread especially towards the end of April? Since many of us will need to consider whether to move our funds then?
i was talking about it being underrated when many were only talking about isavvy and esaver, not telling you to open now, can monitor for their next promo rates. :s13:

Their thread also underrated, probably not many people know about its existence, it started off similar to the model of cimb fastsaver, I started the thread, nobody even bother. :D

then i saw the 3 months promo when another bro started a new thread, thanks to him.

Yes but that is only for the amounts between 60k to 75k. Not the entire amount from $0 to $75k. Should look at the effective interest after averaging out the interest for different tier, which is 2.436% and dropping to 1.796% wef May.

So in the event that we cancel the uob one credit card, we can still use the debit card to clock the min spend and qualify for the bonus interest yah?

Am anticipating if they refuse to waive the uob one credit card annual fees, what's plan B.

Yes min spend for bonus interest on the one account is counted both for credit and debit card. I only had debit card for a while and still got the bonus interest with 500 spend.

Is GIRO deduction for insurance counted as one of the criteria to earn the interest?

If you mean giro deduction from uob one account, it counts as one of three Giro bill payment.

If you meant recurring payment using eligible credit/debit card, it counts towards the $500 card spend for bonus interest but does not count to card rebate/points though.
