My original Samsung Note 7 screen protector crumpled up while I was charging the phone a week back.

Now that I am using the phone naked with no screen protector, there is hairline scratches on the screen already. I am pretty sure my next edge phone will always have a screen protector even though suitable casing are hard to come by.

my note 7 screen became pretty less sensitive since 2-3 weeks ago.

all my text have missing characters/spaces.

like my "lol" can become "lloll".

Have this issue too. Not really less sensitive but it just cannot register some taps at random interval

Can confirm also. At first I thought it was just me, but subsequently I realised that it just became not as sensitive. It was working well before the 60% update though...

My Note 7 still working perfectly though only 60% battery strength. Will use it till 12/11. Will have to surrender it on 13/11.... So sad, I love this phone so much.

mine also working perfectly fine too, with 100% battery strength. never had this intention to surrender it. it will be with me as long as it live on this earth.

yup, youtube shows that there are a lot of cases of Gorilla Glass 5 being scratched, so definitely need sp. My note7 currently have sp, I buy the phone already have le both front and back.
but the back one is matte so left and right side got come out due to the curve back. now put case cannot see already.
most important is the front part.

Jerryriggedeverything already showed it's the same hardness as gorilla glass 4. So if the 5 can get scratched the 4 also can.

If I recall correctly, it is less prone to cracking but it is not scratch resistant and that was why Samsung came up with its own screen protector for the Note 7.

Nope. There is a YouTube video showing no difference already. Whatever thing that can scratch gorilla glass 5 will scratch 4 also. I guess people notice the hairline scratches cuz of confirmation bias. There were rumours that gg5 is softer than 4 so everyone starts looking for hairline scratches. Even after it is proven that gg5 is actually as hard as 4, very difficult to make people change their mind about it.
