u both in jippun now?
integrated wif them oredy?

You mean like piaking the ladies here?

Have you bought an apartment in Japan already?

Already established a solid credit history to get 0.5% interest rates for a 35 year loan, which is applicable only to citizens and PRs.

Now working towards getting PR here whilst saving for the down payment on a mortgage.

You still attend the outreach events?
I stopped going about 2 years ago after attending for the first few years.. Though the food is good (they usually cater from Banquet), I felt out of place. Sorry to say but where I am, I seem to feel that there are more new citizens / PR as compared to Singaporeans..

Went for the first time this year, after like 3 years in Japan.
Very good food indeed!

Not a lot of new citizens/PRs though - maybe because the barriers to entry to Japan are so high that they rather aim for elsewhere. Elsewhere equating to Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand or US.

But definitely felt a little out of place given that most attendees habour intentions to return someday.

Only got one rule in Japan.

Speak standard English whilst in public and people will not think you are from China or Korea :s13:

Seriously. The typical Singaporean can easily blend in due to skin colour, and get better services because service staff will think you are ABC.

Am curious, for those who are now based overseas and perhaps even no intention to return, do you still buy sg stocks?
