Temporary using a power adapter as an antenna.
It works perfectly.
Then the $1.50 passive antenna should work for your too.

I have shortlisted the following.
1) Funke Active 5.1
2) Daiyo EU 1702
3) Wavecom ANT-T25
Would like to hear the advise from the experts here who has experience on these antenna.
Anyone can recommend active antenna to buy?
Dear all , any idea if LG 49UH850T needs a converter plus antenna or just antenna for digital tv?
okie I'm a little lost... but do all TVs require an indoor antenna to receive the DVB-T2 signal?
so all the built-in antenna in our TVs are... "pointless" so to say?

I have a HU9000. it has a built-in tuner but for some reason still can't get the DVB-T2 signals - I think only got two rather scrambled indo channels

my bad guys. got really confused by the salesperson.
so just to confirm. even if my TV has a built-in DVB-T2 tuner, I would still need an indoor antenna regardless?
or can I use the cable point to get channels via DVB-C?
I was under the impression that I just have to run auto-tune and I should get it the channels (no need for any additional hardware whatsoever)

Yes, you will need an indoor antenna if you want to receive DVB-T2 channels
