If hoot from china u will get china rom, have to flash to global rom and the steps are not that easy

China rom no Google playstore. Can flash but need to write to MI and ask to unlock, usually take 3-30 days. By then shd have global rom on phones

I am ok with China rom as long as I am able to get google play to work.
simi flash, I google around, its basically installing from mi app store and change setting. Quite easy steps.

What is the real difference between China Rom and Global Rom? China Rom has China stores and advert app but no Google play app? Global Rom has Google Play store app. Other than apps which run on top of the OS, are they the same?

Always have issues with notifications for apps like WhatsApp, telegram etc when on China ROM. Would always go with global ROM for Xiaomi devices.

according to miui forum, mi 9 china rom has google framework and the google play services pre installed. Only need to install play store apk.
